It was a clear night,
the deep cobalt of the sky
gave a chance to see
the winking stars align,
dotting the sky with v i b r a t i n g light.
The hook of each dipper was clearly seen.
.
The contrast
of the night sky and the stars
with an emerging super moon
would look elegant
tomorrow morning
when the presses
would grind to a halt,
with the print of the photo
on page one.

We had rain so all I had were the photos and your lovely words. Nicely wordled.

Those wordle words got a lot of us looking up at the sky. I like your take on that contrast.

I guess the sky was the beauty of the moment for many of us.
Since I had cataract surgery, I have spent a lot of time looking
at the sky and stars…something I’ve never seen clearly til now ☺.
Thank you for your kind comment.

Thank you for stopping by and taking time to write a comment. I do love the colored font…
I try to keep it appropriate and not over do it. The moon here was definitely spectacular.

That super moon was really something. Printed pictures didn’t do it justice…gorgeous. Lovely poem, too.

Brenda,
