Yes, the view is stunning and I never tire of looking out the window what ever the weather, or time of year.
Since I am with the person who unlocks the library, I can choose my spot to paint and I choose a seat at the
table with a view of the water and the flag pole. There isn’t a bad view from any of the windows, but this is my
favorite.

Victoria, thank you for your kind remarks. It is lovely in Maine and some of the most beautiful coastline in the USA. It does get cold here, but I was raised int he mid-west (Wisconsin and Minnesota) and for me, I love the snow and even the cold for part of the year. Now that I am older, maybe not so much☺ Thank you for your kind reply.

Oh, Siggi, I wish I wasn’t so far away. I would love to drag out my traveling art stuff and join you there. It sounds wonderful. Every time I visit your blog I want to start painting but maybe it’s time to do something about it! And I’m glad it’s still sunny in beautiful Maine. You get your share of the cold stuff up there!

If you are asking about the Everybody Eats, it is at the Episcopal Church, St. Dunstan’s in Ellsworth, ME. It is not a church group that does it, but a group of organized volunteers. One group cooks from noon to 2 or 3 pm and then the servers come in from 3 pm to 6 pm…and there is someone who organizes a schedule to be sure the times are covered.
The beautiful photo underneath the Everybody Eats is on the big island of Mount Desert, off the coast of Maine, USA. Bar Harbor is the big village on it and on land, the big city near it is Bangor. I live between the two.
