Love your photos…Thank you for visiting…I had trouble finding your blog…

I am sorry people are having trouble finding my blog…it may have to do with Word Press…it doesn’t recognize me when I go to post. I did find that I could google my way here…wll just have to trust that those who are meant to find me, do ! Enjoy your blog…have been reading it for a while, with difficulty posting under “siggiofmaine”…too many “siggi’s” in Maine…who’d of thought !
Hope you can continue to visit. I am new at blogging….having trouble knowing what to do to get what I need to get accomplished. Please bear with me. I’m trying to show that an old blogger can learn new concepts !

Helena, I find that if someone is writing or editing, maybe, their blog, there isn’t access to it.
I have had to spend a lot of time “fixing” an error that happened hitting a wrong key…and
didn’t know how to undo it, since I didn’t know what I did !
I hope it is easier to find now..
and thank you for visiting.

To Jenna, and “klrs09″…I’m sorry I don’t know your name, thank you for your comments. The climbing rose bush flourishes due to the fact that it is native to this area. We are about two weeks behind in our flowers and vegetable gardens. The plants in my yard are for this area…I know there’s a formal name for it.. I think “zone” maybe. Many of the beautiful plants are from other people yards and gardens…the iris’s and lupine came from fields that had been in the same place growing for decades…
my 2nd f. in law grew up in the place they had been growing, Other flowers in my yard, a friend with a greenhouse started and gave them to me.
It has taken many years to find plants that would grow not only in this climate, but in clay…my ex hubby has mulched and mulched for thirty years to get thing s to grow.
And thank you for liking the 6 work journals….it is to keep me concise and not rambling..
.the rambles will be added too …but I like the challenge of doing something people don’t think I can do…be short shrift with words !
To you both, enjoy the summer while we have it. Thanks for reading my blogs.

Hi Siggi — my name is Kathy. Is Siggi your full name, or short for something?
siggiofmaine
Hi, Kathy,
Siggi is short for “Sigrid”.
When I got divorced in 2003, I wanted to change my name and I gave the task of my first name to a dear friend who said she loved my first name and so it would stay “Sigrid”. Siggi is what I had on my license plate…and what some people call me. So “Siggi” it is.
Thank you for asking.

Hi Siggi — love your photographs — the climbing rose is beautiful. I wish, sometimes, that I lived in a place where the climate was conducive to growing plants like that. Our summers here are just too short and generally not hot enough. Sounds like you’re having a great summer so far. Mine’s just begun. And, despite whatever the reason is, I LOVE your six word journals!
