Great summary of the havoc she wrought. Did you ever get your gravatar worked out?

Pat,
As always am please when the forecasters are wrong…
but that means usually somewhere else gets hammered and others suffer. This was a good practice run for the rest of the hurricane season, and the nor’easters to come. Candles, batteries, flashlights,
all in order….and matches. Forgot matches one year…not smoking means, need to know where the matches are !
Thanks for your comment.

Judie.
It is going to be an expensive YEAR for disasters…the printing presses are going to have to work overtime…Sigh.
Ill gotten gains, stay will ill gotten morals, sense of duty, and sense of justice. They obviously had not
been taught the duty of service for those who have to those who have not.
Those who will give all the service they can will be those who can lease afford it, except for the exceptions to the rule we are seeing in society in general.
Thanks for your comments.

Yeah awful the devestation she caused, got all wound up here over her and just a big gust of hot air, lucky this time I guess.

What a mess in the northeast! All that horrible flooding, roads out, homes destroyed! Do you wonder just how the federal government is going to find the money for all the repairs? Do you think those sinfully wealthy capitalists in America will lend some of their ill-gotten gains to Washington??? Just curious!

The sunflowers I put on the railing of my deck never blew away, but we lost our power. Go figure. A minor inconvenience compared to so many.

Crystal:
It is amazing what stayed and what didn’t. We had circular winds that pulled limbs off some HUGE trees, and just “pruned” my ash tree.
But it is small compared to the suffering of others. Thank you for commenting.

sad those she took and all those still without power…have heard some great things coming out of NYC on how people are banding together though….

Brian…thank you for your reply….am happy to hear of those in NYC banding together…I’d mostly heard people on the news complaining it was an over-reaction to call for the evacuations….most of the news here is about Vermont…a sad situation along with all the others. Many heroic stories being heard up and down the coast.
