Princess the feral cat…so cute…more submissive to be caught for her medicine, but still a loner rules the roost.  She weighs six pounds tops and it takes two grown men to catch her and scoop her up for her medicine.  It seems like a game to her now.  No struggle once she decides to let one of them          pick her up !     Her left eye looks clear and healthy.

The Road of Life has detours and bumps, and random acts of nature's beauty along the way.

.
Thankful for Blessings
of My Life
.
There is much on
the road of life to be
thankful for.
The road has detours,
and bumps,
but that is what happens
to everyone…
I should not feel “singled out”
or “picked on”.
.
Life is what happens
when you are making
other plans,
I read that somewhere
years ago.
A lesson difficult for me to
learn..
to be thankful for the blessings
over which I have no control.
It’s a blessing to learn to
be thankful I cannot control
much of what happens on the
road of life.
.
I give thanks for my
health and the blessing of
 being able to walk…
running is hazardous
to my health:
a blessing to
be thankful for too…
it slows me down
to take time to notice
the goodness and
blessings around me.
.
My family, tho small, is big
in loving and caring.
I am thankful for the blessing
of a son
and daughter,…
and blessed and thankful
they are mine…
thankful they have grown
successfully into middle age,
even tho it is hard to
admit,
I have middle aged children
and
blessed to have
coming to adulthood
Grandchildren.
.
Thankful for the gift of
grandchildren who are
loving and gifted….
Their gifts are varied
and many,
not the least of which is
blessed that they are growing
into loving women.
.
JD, the only male grandson,
an adult, is certainly someone to be
grateful to have in my life.
His son, Jaden, is adorable,
and I am thankful and blessed
to have both of them
in my life.
.
There is so much to be thankful
for…independence,
a new to me car so I can still
get around by myself,
blessed with friends
that are chosen family,
and
make my days lively and
fulfilling.
.
My companion, the feline variety,
Bianca, is interesting and fun
to have around.
I am thankful and blessed…
she allows me to live
with her in peace and quiet
as long as I do as she pleases !
.
I give thanks to God,
and Jesus, his son,
along with all the angels,
heavenly and earthly,
that care for me and look
over me.
.
Life is good.
There are many blessings
and much to be thankful for
on the road of life.
