This is "Lucy", my granddaughter's cat that now resides with my ex husband #2. Lucy was a Halloween "treat" when Mackenzi went to a party and announced when she came home that her mother could pick up the 8 week old kitten the next day ! Of course, my daughter saw the kitten and fell in love with it, too, so home it came ! Lucy is 5 or 6 years old.

I paused Bianca's snacking on the grass I got both Lucy and Bianca for Christmas. They both love to snack on grass in the summer time ...they aren't sick, they just love to eat the tall grass that grows by the stoops of each of their homes. Lucy keeps hers mowed quite low. Bianca, is not as aggressive eating the treat. She eats around the edges and it sort of has a mohawk "do" now.

Quiet day/cut Bianca-Lucy’s toenails

==========================

(Lucy is the cat that stayed behind when

my daughter and her family moved to Texas.

She could only have 2 cats in her apartment

and Lucy adores my ex-husband.  It takes two

of us to cut the toenails of each cat !)

The weather as you can see was bright sun in my eyes with blue sky and clouds hanging over the mountains and islands in Somes Sound. Very strange weather day. But lovely, too, which is why it is so wonderful to be at the library. The weather was unseasonably in the 40s and then dropped into the teens in the evening. As you can see, no snow.

Blueberry Field painting is completed. Rory Morris provided the photograph I worked from. The fields in my area hadn't changed to red when this photo was taken around Thanksgiving.

.

Everybody Eats had an AWESOME meal. There was a squash casserole for the vegetarian main course that also looked very tasty, and a dish of pickled mixed beans.

.

Fresh fruit for no charge... or a donation if you can afford it. There was lots of extra bakery bread also at no charge..

The Maine Grind...a great place for picking up a sandwich, a cuppa joe or using the WiFi. Had a meeting here for an interview for a private nursing position and was hired. What a great place to meet. It was quite busy, and I was happy that the people at this table left so I could take a photo.

We stopped at the Town Hil market on the way home from painting in Somesville...we heard they had the tastiest farm fresh organic eggs around. And, some old fashion salt cod.

“Done this” lists for painting groups☺

—————————————————

(at the end of the year, lists of portrait models,

plein aire sights, exhibits are a must to see where

we have been and decide where we are going.)
