This is a scene I have painted many times. It is at the Town Landing in Blue Hill, Maine, USA. One of my paintings of this spot, but in springtime, a friend calls her "happy spot". The peace of the view is always unique but still the same.

Somes Sound, the view out the window of the library... I could look at it forever and not get tired of it.

.

The weather has been hard on these bushes...will keep an eye as to whether they will be removed or were just trimmed.

.

The homemade soups were elegant, and I told the pasta was too. There were sandwiches, sliced cheese, bakery bread, and lots of choices for dessert. No one went hungry tonite...and some took meals home for tomorrow.

.

There was plenty of fresh fruit and bread to take home. There is no charge. If you can afford a donation there is a descrete box to leave one.
