Tom…
I think the golden years get a little tarnished these days…but still golden.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

Dear Sarah,
Here you are! I’ve finally found your post for your autobiography in six words. I couldn’t find it at first and left a comment on the SC-post before this one.
Thank you for commenting on my six words.
I am not retired, but I am seeking employment or out of work, so my days are filled with survival strategies! Plus my children take a lot of time. They are on holiday with their father (my former husband. We are divorced since last year, 8th of April 2011) so I am trying to catch up with EVERYTHING this week!
Anna,
Thanks for stopping by and writing such a nice long comment. I wish you luck finding work. It is so difficult these days.
Hope you stop by again.
Peace,
Siggi in Downeast Maine
Never been so busy as I’ve been since being retired…I think someone should come up with a new word…although, re-tired does mean tired all over again, right?!
Anita…
I find I need to pace myself…but am busy five days a week before Monday starts…all in the am, all things I enjoy. That’s the key.
Don’t over do and pace yourself.
Peace,
Siggi in Downeast Maine
Judie…that happens..one career to another…If I go back to work, it will be similar to what I was doing, working with the elderly confused people of the area.
Thanks for the comment…

Don’t you know? When you are retired there’s
No clock
No phone
No time
No money
and probably a few more I can’t think of right. Uh oh yeh No memory.
:)~Ames
I’m not retired yet, but I know the feeling – where does time go? It seems like this school year just started and already we’re almost 3/4 the way through. Sometimes I wish I could slow it down a little.
Max…
If there was a magical way to slow time, I think most people would want to do that…
other than that…savor every moment.
Peace,

Oh Siggi, this was wonderful. I hope you find someone to do just that!

Savor these golden years!
True, golden might be a bit of exaggeration. LOL!
Well done!

They say it’s 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for as long as possible!

The time goes by magically fast during the day for me. I understand about the school year…treasure those moments.
