By the way, what temp. is this summer you were already feeling in spring?

It seems like summer is ready to wane any time now and the garden is just coming up ! I feel disoriented thinking that even if I know the date, I am amazed the garden is so “slow”…some years,
it is just being planted at the end of June ☺. The temps are varying…60’s and then 70’s 80’s.
One never knows…we’ve had a lot of rain in-between. The strawberries were early and it looks like
the blueberries will be too. The “summer” traffic has picked up already…but with th 4th coming,
it’s stay at home and give the islands to the “flatlanders” !

This is really a nice series of haiku on Summer Solstice. Everything on, in and above our Earth joins in when Summer is there. Right now nature is on her best … It’s a joy to walk through nature in this time of the year.

spring seemed like summer was here and we are looking for the other shoe to drop and fall to arrive any time !
