Twin Trees on island off shore, Flye Point, Brooklyn, Maine, This photo shows the island as the tide is coming in. At low tide, a person can walk out to the islands if they are watchful of the turn of the tide and get back to land …. it’s not a far walk as you can see.

on a plein aire (outside in the fresh air)
painting trip to Brooklin, Maine.
We have been here many times
and I just love these two trees off shore near
a gazebo. Trees on islands fascinate me…and
I take many photos of them, and paint many
paintings of them. I never tire of looking at
these trees.

Very beautiful — you should post a picture of one of your paintings. I enjoyed our brief touch of Maine when we were on holidays three summers ago. It’s one of my goals to go backEast and stay for at least 6 months so that I can really experience it.
