A tree I noticed with “personality”  on the trunk … it is beside the entrance to the hospital in Blue Hill,Maine, USA

First I noticed the “umbrella” canopy of limbs and then…this part of the tree called to me to take its photo.

Walking between the church next door and my house is not far, but treacherous…the two lawns are uneven with occasional dips in the ground. A short but hazardous walk for someone who falls often
