Wreathes for sale at side of Surry Road….usually there is a bank/box of some kind attached to the stands for payment…

The wreath stand is down a little side road…below is a close-up of the wreath.

I saw this summer cottage yesterday (Dec 2012) and it looked so wonderful….like the summer memories are still roaming the rooms with laughter no one can hear, but anyone could feel.  Contention Cove, Surry, Maine.  That tree on the left  looks to be over a hundred years old…a real beauty and the cottage…or camp as it is called in Maine…is surrounded by beautiful trees.

Beautiful lights outside LL Bean’s main store… open 24 hours year ’round.

.

Side walk restaurant has a small fire in the middle of each table.  Small Vendors for the holidays rent small stores vacated by those stores that were open for the summer only and probably off to warmer climes.

.

In Maine, many small stores that are open at years end, close until the spring or even summer.
