===========
This is a fictionalized version of a blue afghan quilt
my daughter made for a boyfriend when she was
a teen. First it was brought to my house and I used
it for many years. Then one day, I was called by
my daughter that the quilt would be picked up again
by the now married man. I asked no questions,
simply handed it him and he thanked me an left.

A lot of skill and love went into both the quilt and the poem. Lovely lovely. : )

Wow… I don’t believe taking it away from you after all that time but… I suppose that’s life.
It sounds like it was lovely.

The young man was a nice person when he dated my daughter, and it didn’t take long
to “get over it”☺
Thanks for the comment.
Tilly Bud - The Laughing Housewife
What a strange story. I bet you could get a whole novel out of it.

Tilly,
I believe you are correct…lots of twists and turns. Remembering when he returned it,
he was sad…”it’s so big, and nice and warm” … and he was equally happy to have it back. ☺
