Mmmmm, I can smell the lovely winter smoke. Cedar’s my favorite. Beautiful sensory haiku, Sig. : )

thank you for the nice comment. It is such a lovely smell to come upon..Mainers rely a lot on wood heat…as their only or supplemental heat. Even in the summer, there is the occasional whiff of the smell because of the use of wood stoves for cooking.
