It was amazing, then again, not, that with 2 feet plus of snow, there
would be bare ground in places today. The wind was 50 MPH
or more in gusts and blew it seemed forever. This tree is at the
new Knowlton Park, created when a school was torn down.

It should be an evergreen of some sort, but where is the triangular shape? 🙂

i find this interesting…usually they tear down trees to build something…here it’s the other way round…we have snow over here as well and windy as well..not that much though…a beautiful pic

I was worried about that…the tearing down of the trees, but so far, knock on wood, the trees have stayed. They also decided to leave the playground that was built a few years ago due to public opinion…outrage is a better word !

the wind is what causes the major damage around here…seems like the gusts have been pretty intense this year as well…felling a lot of trees…nice shot…smiles.

the wind here, too…there has been an aggressive trimming of trees above utility lines and
that has helped. A friend had a huge and tall tree come down on her house last spring.
The damage reports of trees hasn’t been reported yet but the gusts here were over 50 mph
for most of Saturday. It was a wild and wooly storm.

It is a refreshing color in contrast with the cold snow. Beautiful!
