I remember watching my Uncle Marvin milk the cows,
process it in another room in the barn,
and that he seldom had a vacation due to the needs
of the herd.
My Aunt Doris would ask if he’d brought her any
fresh cream to drink and would tell me fresh milk
right from the cows was the best one could drink.
I’d think “ewww !”
