Today’s
Earth Day.
I often wonder
Does anyone care
about the extinction of
smallest to largest animals;
over fishing of smallest to largest
creatures of the the lakes and oceans.
Trash fills the landfills that will be there
for our great great grand-chidren to study
I often wonder does anyone really care
about the earth and all it’s inhabitants
the plants and flowers, mountains
deserts, farm land, lakes, seas
Today is Earth Day…one day
to remind us if we don’t
care, no one will and
all the little fish,
little animals
plants,
us:
Will.. there ..be .a .place
for us…… ..or will there
be .a .need . for .a .place
because no one”s here?
