At the left of the photo, you can see the edge
of the barn door opening. We only had the
available light to use regardless of the weather.
The chicken was a very good model, but an
exception for farm animals.

You can see that an area was cleared for the
painter, sand that the barn was used for storage.
The floor area was just part of the barn’s floor.
It had long ago been used for a dance floor and
that is why it is a finished floor.

It is a friends barn…I wish it was mine…huge and wonderful barn. The couple that
owned the barn, now their family, stored paintings…lovely ones, on the walls of the barn…it was interesting….trash and treasures, farm machinery and bats !
The bats certainly had plenty to view !
