beautiful, siggi. I love the 2nd line of the first haiku. “youthful nights filled with moonshine.”

I meant I read it wrong the first time as “youthful nights filled with moonshine” as if some heavy drinking was goin’ on. LOL.
“EYES filled with moonshine.”

I read your other comment…I realized that it could be read like you did at first….. I did the same thing when I was editing it…ad decided to let the reader decided if the youth were filled “up to their eyes filled with moonshine.”…”filled up to my eyes” was a phrase I remember being used for over indulging especially with food, but it could be liquids too !
Thanks for both comments…I enjoyed your interpretation…I sometimes forget that everyone doesn’t know how I think or the “local-isms I grew up with.
Appreciate your feed back.
