Huayna Picchu Terraces
Photograph by Kee Woo Rhee, My Shot
Terraces are carved high on Huayna Picchu. For decades Machu Picchu was a puzzle for archaeologists and historians. A 16th-century legal document and studies of the site’s architecture and artifacts in the latter 20th century have suggested a mountaintop retreat for Inca ruler Pachacutec Inca Yupanqui.

My darling Bianca after she had lost over ten pounds.
Sometimes her touch meant she wanted something …
this looks like “I need you to hold me”
even though she didn’t like to be held by me most
of the time.
The photo seems to fit the prompt.

Prompt:

‘touched

I swore I wasn’t going to be a crazy cat lady.
My sweet Bianca recently passed away
on October 19.
I could have sworn a few nights ago
I felt the touch of her nose on my toe…
my foot over the edge of the raised footrest
of the recliner.
She used to do that as she went by close
to the chair so I couldn’t see her.

This post has been corrected due to my “brain sprain”
which episode I had for the title…sorry for any
confusion…the title matches the “ku now to the
best of my knowledge.

This “Little Ones” episode
is about the Burmese poetry form ‘Thanbauk’.
It consists of three lines of four syllables each.
Traditionally, they are full of humour.
It also has a rhyme in it.
The rhyme is on the fourth syllable of the first line,
the third syllable of the second,
and on the second syllable of the third.

I tried for “Thanbauk” form, without the humor.
