(c) 1971 Phosphorescent Bay painting
8″ x 10 oil on canvas panel
painting Sally Ann Rinker
San Juan, Puerto Rico
The first painting I ever purchased.
.
.
.
Sally Rinker was leading a class of Navy
Wives in a painting group and I loved this painting.
She had not idea how she got the colors that day,
and so I bought the painting.
She sent the money to her mother who contributed it
a charity that fed hungry American Indian children.

Mainer tradition

October time to be warm

April…long johns gone
.
.
=========================================
note: back in the day,
once the long johns are on,
they would stay on no matter
what the weather/temperature…
for once they come off, not on
again til the following fall.
