My view of Somes Sound from the reading room at the Somesville Library where the Vagabond painters meet on Mondays and Fridays every week. I love this view...will post it often as it changes thru the year...the other window has a view of the American flag...awesome also.

Library views awesome. High tide/wildlife
When at the back door of St. Dunstans's Episcopal Church, heading for Everybody Eats I noticted this blue flower against the red of a burning bush. Awesome. Over used word, but fits.
Everybody Eats, a community meal, you pay if you can a donation, dropped into a wooden box by the door, or no charge if you don't have the money. No questions asked. Teenagers often drop in for a quick bite or a dessert !

Daughter feeling better/mother much relieved.
Writers group shared prompts/then lunch.
Wednesday Portrait group/model George/...Steve, a long time/infrequent painter showed up...we were so delighted...it is rare he has time to spend with us ..it is hard work, time consuming work to be a professional painter in this economy.

Bianca feeling frisky...she's lost 5 pounds over a period of maybe 18 months...at vet's suggestion. Found a new perch today next to the tv.The flash was too bright, and available light a bit dark...sorry...did the best I could to capture what might be..or not... a one time event.

Jenny…thanks for the nice comment….The meals aren’t always this fancy…but it is a nice thing for the volunteers to do for the community.

Lovely post, Siggi. Nature has such a fun time with color, doesn’t she? Just like we do!

thank you for taking the time to make a comment ☺.
Mother Nature has as much fun as anyone with her palette of color.

I see Jon Bon Jovi and his wife had the same idea of starting a community eatery. People can go in and have a meal, pay if they have money or not and they can offer to help clear table etc. His is a very nice place and hope it lasts for them all.
A very full and lovely week for you. Love the little pics that you tell the little stories to them.

thanks for your kind comments.
The Everybody Eats group had a second anniversary in July. I hope Bon Jovi has good luck with his place, too. I saw the story on tv recently…can’t remember the date. One of the grocery stores brings over bread and fresh veggies for people to take at no charge.
Thank you for the nice comment on the photos.

Thanks for stopping by…it will definitely show up again…there are several iconic views from the windows, and then outside more…we are blessed to be allowed to paint in the library twice a week.
